1984 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler
-5.0 Liter V8. Rebuilt before install.
-Forged pistons. I-beam rods, MLS head gaskets, Trick Flow heads (9.72:1 comp), all roller valve train, GT40 intakes, Ford Performance injectors and throttle body. In tank fuel pump for OEM reliability with Holley serviceable fuel filter.
-New NV3550 5-speed transmission, Centerforce dual friction clutch, Lakewood bellhouse with Novak adaptor, Hurst shifter for transmission and JB Fab twin sticks for the rebuilt Dana 300 transfer case. New Carolina Driveline driveshafts front and rear.
-Front axle has new brakes, ball joints, seals, u-joints, upgraded shafts, Detroit Tru-trac diff, 4.56 gears, new brake lines, sway bar bushings, and steering linkage. Rebuilt steering box with cross brace and Borgeson steering shaft.
-Rear axle has new brakes, brake lines, all seals, Moser 1 piece axles, Detroit Locker, 4.56 gears, all new hardware.
-Suspension is Skyjacker 4inch softride with urethane bushings, hydro-shocks, Currie shackles with M.O.R.E heavy duty hangers.
-Cruise control was added during restoration/build.
-Power front disc brakes.
-Corbeau high back bucket seats.
-Marching removable Corbeau rear bench.
-Factory roll bar.
-Lockable center console with modern stereo.
-Repainted in era correct Gun Metal Gray single stage enamel.
